Fallout 76 Players Are Unhappy About In-Game Fridge

One of the latest items added to the in-game store of Fallout 76 is the refrigerator that has been requested by the community before. It reduces the speed of food and drinks spoiling by 50%.

The players are unhappy about the price of the new addition. The Fallout 76 fridge costs 700 Atoms – the in-game currency you can receive for finishing missions or by simply buying them with real cash. The price of the fridge is equivalent to $7 which is just $3 cheaper than the first official expansion to the game, Automatron:

“In 2016, Automatron released for $9.99. This refrigerator would be priced $6.61 when adjusted for inflation, roughly 2/3 the price of Automatron. They’re selling it for $7.00 today, however, which is 70% the price of Automatron.

One of these provides a new quest and locations, enemies, armor, weapons, and the other is a fridge.”

During the E3  Bethesda presentation, the company has been on hand to announce a new upcoming major expansion for the game. Wastelanders will contain human quest NPCs, a full main questline, new rewards, new dialogue trees, and long-term story arcs.

Wastelanders is coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 in Fall 2019.
