Bethesda has some great news for the Fallout 76 community in the form of the Steel Dawn update that is being prepared for launch on December 1st. The free update includes the first chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel questline and expands the Wastelanders update with new NPCs, new locations to visit, additional C.A.M.P. Shelters for building, new gear to earn, and much more. The launch of Steel Dawn also starts a new Season.
As with all of our updates, Steel Dawn will be free for all Fallout 76 players. If you would like, you can also pick up bonus in-game digital items by purchasing the Brotherhood Recruitment Bundle at launch. It will include items you can build to transform your C.A.M.P. into a stronghold that’s fit for a Paladin, like the Brotherhood Scouting Tower, Barricade, and Barracks Locker. You’ll also get the Brotherhood Reclaimed Power Armor Paint, Tactical Field Pack, and a Salute Emote so you can show off your dedication when you’re on the move.
In addition to information about the Steel Dawn launch, the development team also shared what will be coming to FO76 players throughout the balance of 2020. This includes holiday events, a new trailer for the Game Awards, and much more.
Lastly, players can take part in the game’s second-anniversary celebration. Players will be able to earn “SCORE, rank up, and claim rewards more quickly by completing two bonus Daily Challenges per day as well as two extra Weekly Challenges”.
