Aspiring farmers will want to check into Farming Simulator 22 to check out the new (and free) update to the game deployed by developers at GIANTS Software. Among other things, players will be treated to sixteen brand spanking new vehicles as well as a host of new tools. Developers also took time to address a variety of optimizations and quality of life improvements.
Numerous additions and improvements enhance the farming experience: Other than new machines, GIANTS Software also adds new placeables like a mobile home and an old barn, including the option for free placement to allow for a more dynamic farm building. Meanwhile, working on the fields gets a bit more intelligible, with the field info now showing yield potential and the recommended tool to remove weeds.
The first content update with those and even more improvements and bug fixes is now available as part of patch 1.2. GIANTS Software will continue to provide content updates in the future and is supporting their own ModHub, where user-generated content is available to download.
Players will find new vehicles to drive including fan-favorites Case IH Steiger Quadtrac, ABI Attachments, Kongskilde Agriculture, and Vervaet.
The update is available for all versions of the game including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.
