Fatal Fury: First Contact Invites Switch Players to Relive an Old Favorite

Fans of the 1999 Neogeo Pocket game, Fatal Fury: First Contact, will be happy to hear that the old favorite is now available on Nintendo Switch. SNK Corporation has brought the retro classic to the eShop for a bargain price of $7.99. Players will be able to revisit Southtown to take on fighting game veterans including Terry Bogard, Geese Howard, Mai Shiranui, Rick Strowd, and Li Xiangfei.

Features include:

  • an ultra-lethal special move called Potential Power that lets players unleash a deadly attack on the point of their own death
  • tabletop and handheld modes
  • single-lane fighting system

SNK has been instrumental in bringing a number of classic games to modern systems. Some of their other titles include SNK Gals’ Fighters, King of Fighters R-2, Samurai Shodown!2, and the Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny.
