Alien: Rogue Incursion is coming to PlayStation VR2, PCVR via Steam, and Meta Quest 3 for Holiday 2024.
Iconic horror franchise Alien is coming to VR platforms soon. Immersive gaming studio Survios has announced that the legendary Alien franchise will bring its own particular brand of deadly adventure to a new set of screens when Alien: Rogue Incursion comes to VR later in 2024. The news of this upcoming instalment in the series dropped with a new terrifying trailer too.
Players strapping on and facing the big screen xenomorph will find themselves in a harrowing VR journey and a new story that players against the ‘Perfect Organism.’ We don’t know a great deal more about the upcoming horror show, but the trailer seems to indicate that this will follow the same unsettling archetype of the original and survival sim, Alien: Isolation. Don’t expect to go full Fireteam with your marine buddies this time.
Studio Survios does have some history with franchise crossovers, producing VR spin offs for Creed and the Walking Dead.
