Players will jet off on a quest to visit The Box of Fortune. Players will draw a fortune or omikuji. Developers describe it this way:
This traditional activity isn’t a common concept in the West; In fact, I wasn’t that familiar with it until hearing about this year’s seasonal event. Allow me to share my findings. Omikuji are fortunes written on strips of paper found in temples in Japan. Temple visitors can make small offerings to receive one. They predict the chances of one’s hopes and wishes coming true! But bad luck could also be drawn. In this case, it’s customary to leave those fortunes behind.
Of course, no event in any MMORPG is complete without some epic gear. Heavensturn is no exception with some beautiful and “stylish new glam” just in time for the new year. Players can also score some indoor furnishing such as the Heavensturn Crane Banner.
