If you’ve been counting the days until January 23rd and the release of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, get ready to count more than a few additional days. Square Enix has announced that the game will not be ready until sometime in “summer 2020”. The decision was made to ensure that the game’s quality meets the exacting standards of both the developers and the community.
Today we’re announcing that the release date for the game is being moved to Summer 2020. We’ve made the decision to adjust the release date to allow the development team some extra time to make final adjustments to the game to make this the best experience possible. [2/5]

The game is being remastered for multiple platforms including PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android mobile devices. It will feature the ability to play with anyone on any device and players will be able to save progress “across all four platforms” once the game launches.
