Last week, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake was being delayed from March 3rd to April 10th. Due to the change in release date, however, an issue has cropped up for North American pre-order customers. Those who pre-purchased the game will need to “opt-in” by February 28th so that the order is not canceled. Players will receive an email from Square Enix that provides a link to the opt-in page. Those who do not opt-in by February 28th will have their pre-orders canceled. Square Enix has also indicated that canceled pre-orders will not be reinstated “based on limited quantities available”.
