Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2020-2021 Is Coming

The Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2020-2021 is coming and you can experience it in three of the world’s biggest cities from November 2020.

Square Enix has just announced that Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival, a huge gathering of fans is about to hit three of the world’s biggest cities across the course of 2020-2021. Confirmed during a recent Letter From The Producer live stream from the team behind the hugely successful MMORPG, this two-day event will invite players to gather and catch awesome cosplay parades, take on challenges with their Free Companies, and chat to the creative minds that resurrected an MMO that had fairly mediocre success until the realm was reborn.

Times & Places

The fan fest will drop into San Diego, CA, Nagoya, and London giving fans from across the world a chance to catch the festivities. The full dates are below:

  • 6th-7th November 2020 – FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Fest 2020 in San Diego – San Diego Convention Centre
  • 19th-20th December – FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Fest 2020 in Nagoya – Aichi Sky Expo
  • 20th-21st February – FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Fest 2021 in London – ExCeL London

You can check out the teaser trailer for the upcoming festival dates above but there isn’t a whole lot more about what’s coming with the news. It is likely that the latest Final Fantasy XIV release, Echoes of a Fallen Star, will have been superseded by the time that the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival reaches your locale. Anybody desperate to grab a ticket to this raid will be best placed to keep an eye on the official Fan Festival website for more detail as it emerges.
