Starting January 19th, Japanese attendees at Universal Studios will be able to check out a new ride. Called Final Fantasy XR Ride, it is a VR enabled roller coaster rather than a physically present ride. According to Kotaku, it is “Space Fantasy The Ride” repurposed with a Final Fantasy theme.
The ride will only be available for a limited amount of time. After opening in January, it will remain open through June 24th.

The ride is, of course, themed around the popular game series from Square Enix. The series has hit a high point in 2017 with several games remastered and others announced to be coming soon. In addition, the latest game, Final Fantasy XV has been a huge hit with fans.
