Final Fantasy XVI PC Reveal Brings The Adventure To Desktops During September

Square Enix has confirmed that a Final Fantasy XVI PC port is coming on September 17, via Epic and Steam.

Warm up those GPUs and prepare to head into adventure once again. Square Enix has confirmed that PC players will get a port of the latest Final Fantasy on 17 September. Keep an eye on Steam and Epic storefronts and experience a unique tale in this series. Standing apart from the epic Final Fantasy saga, this dark fantasy brings payers to the realm of Valisthea and a quest driven by fate and tragedy. One that only you can overcome.

The appropriately epic introduction also comes with an announcement trailer. You can check it out above. Take a glimpse at a land blessed in the light of the Mothercrystals, where mighty Eikons, iconic beasts, and their human counterparts decide its fate. Not all is well, and the tale of Clive Rosfield is bound to this land.

DLC and Pre Purchase

The PC port will also allow players to purchase the first and second DLC chapters. The first “Echoes of the Fallen,” unlocks new story, battles, weapons, accessories, level cap and more. Clive and company will find an abandoned tower known as the Sagespire, and horrific secrets too. The second DLC adds depth to Clive’s story, challenges, sidequests, weapons, accessories, level cap, and Eikon abilities, and end game content.

Anybody who didn’t need convincing can already rest assured that you can throw money at the screen now. Those who pre-purchase the game on either platform will also receive the following in-game DLC items:

  • Brave Blade Weapon
  • Cait Sith Charm (Gil Boost Accessory)
  • “Sixteen Bells” Orchestrion Roll

Alternatively, you’ll find a fully-fledged demo over on the available stores too. To find out more about Clive and the Final Fantasy XVI PC port, head over to the official site now or just jump into the demo.
