If you’ve ever wondered if Daphnie or Darkwing was the better brawler then you’ll probably want to clear some time on 19 May, when MultiVerses kicks off a closed alpha test.
Announced just earlier today by Warner Brothers games, the upcoming cartoon battler MultiVerses is due to enter a closed testing period between 19 – 27 May. This much hypoed, and utterly off the wall character battler is set to bring an eclectic array of cartoon icons to the stage, and by that we mean the ones at Evo.
While players will get to go hands on across PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, and PC with full cross-play support, this unusual addition to the fighting genre brings its own mix of combat and cartoon shenanigans to Evo during the 5-7 August. Anybody watching the competition at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, will be able to see some of the world’s best take on Shaggy and co as they battle Batman and cross swords with Wonder woman. You can check out the preview below to get a glimpse of the game as the development team take on Tyrell “NAKAT” Coleman and James “VoiD” Makekau-Tyson in a best of three series via the game’s 2 vs. 2 mode. The match also gives us all a first look at the Scooby’s Haunted Mansion map, which will be available during the testing period
.
For those unfamiliar with the concept MultiVerses is the Warner Bros take on Smash, or Nickelodeon’s All Star Brawl. With an even more unusual mix, you’ll find Batman battling Steven Universe and Jake the Dog facing off against Arya Stark. Sign ups for the closed alpha test are open right now.
