GungHo just dropped a new Disney Pixel RPG trailer to celebrate 500,000 pre-registrations for the upcoming mobile adventure.
Earlier this year, the team behind Ninjala and Puzzle & Dragons announced Disney Pixel RPG. After opening registrations during July 2024, the pixel art escapade is having managed an impressive 500,00 names that are ready to do battle and save a magical world. To celebrate the milestone, we got a new trailer today. The teaser from GungHo gives us a better glimpse at the Disney game worlds, the characters, and battle systems that make up this adorable looking title.
Opening with a quick glimpse of some old and new members of the house of mouse, the trailer shows a spooky disturbance across the land. It highlights Mickey and friends, as well as familiar faces from Zootopia, Winnie the Pooh, Alladin, and what seems to be the player character. No keyblade in sight. There’s a glimpse of the party battle system and a Baymax hiding in the background too. While this doesn’t give us a ton more detail on how the whole experience will play out, it continues to loom large of my increasingly slim mobile storage space. I think I’m going to have to delete a few things before this one arrives later this year.
Disney Pixel RPG is exactly what it sounds like. An adorable pixel art RPG set in a magical land, where you’ll quest with a range of Disney characters to restore peace to a turbulent land.
