Flashback 2 developer Paul Cuisset got in front of the camera to reveal the secrets behind Flashback 2.

Publisher Microids has released a new video interview that tales a deep dive behind he scenes of Flashback 2. Titled ‘Genesis,’ the new look at this upcoming sci-fi adventure delves into the links between the very first Flashback from 1992 and the return to Titan decades later. Cuisset and game producer, Anthony Bouraba , unravel the essence of the original game and discuss how it is maintained, while significant improvements elevate the Flashback 2 experience. Die-hard fans will be delighted to rediscover the fresh mix of action and exploration as well as discovering new gameplay mechanics that modernize and expand the franchise. For those that haven’t heard of Flashback or the upcoming sequel, this sci-fi platformer is something of an icon in gaming. Considered one of the greats of its time, it followed a lowly human agent as they fought against a larger alien conspiracy. Not too much has changed in that respect. Flashback 2 is a follow up that head back to the 22nd Century. The United Worlds extend throughout the Solar System, but this tranquillity is threatened by the Morph invasion led by the fearsome General Lazarus. Playing as Conrad B. Hart, you’ll dive into a vibrant sci-fi/cyberpunk universe full of 3D environments and dangerous threats to uncover what’s coming.

Flashback 2 will be available November 16th, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be available in Q1 2024. You can find out mor on the official website now.
