All in! Games and PolyAmorous have announced that Paradise Lost will finally make its debut on March 24th. The alt-history game will be coming out on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and is now available for pre-order for $14.99. Xbox players can leverage a 20% pre-order discount while PC players ordering through GoG will receive a 34% discount.
The game puts players in an alternate version of WWII history where no one won and Europe is “hidden behind a veil of radiation, transformed into a nuclear wasteland by the Nazis”. Players take on the role of the orphaned 12-year-old, Szymon, who is contacted by Ewa, a girl inside a massive, abandoned bunker. It is up to him to explore the underground bunker that features a mix of Slavic mythology and “retrofuturistic technology” while he determines whether Ewa is a friend of a foe.
To showcase gameplay and to provide a forward look at what the game entails, developers released never-yet-seen footage and commentary from the game’s director.
