If you’re like me and grew up as a teen in the 90s, and even an adult for that matter, Myst was a big game. I say big, it was a very…aggravating puzzle game. Some loved it, some hated it. I liked it because I had nothing better to do than waste 20 hours trying to figure out how to open the lighthouse door. Anyway, the makers of Myst and Obduction have started work on a new puzzle game. Firmament is being made for VR, taking the whole genre up a level.
While Myst was a rather simple puzzle game, this seems to be quite a bit more in-depth. There was even a hint that there were multiple worlds to visit. This could be a huge game for puzzle solvers. However , note that it is being built from the ground up for VR experience. No info yet as to which platform will be officially supported, so owners of any of the VR headsets are kind of in limbo right now.
