Curve Games and IronOak Games have announced that the first For the King II closed beta event will kick off on May 10th and run through May 16th. Players are invited to head over to Steam to check out the details and sign up for possible selection as a tester.
According to the dev team, CBT will offer players a chance to get a peek at the game. In addition, players will provide feedback to the team to help drive future development and identify areas for improvement.
Veterans of the series will find many familiar features yet that have been improved for the new game. Building on the original game’s success, players will find a unique and challenging blend of strategy, turn-based combat, and roguelike elements.
Beta gameplay features
- One of the five playable adventures
- Single-player and multiplayer opportunities
- Six character classes with their own strengths and weaknesses to explore. Many more characters will be available on release
- Blacksmith
- Scholar
- Hunter
- Stableboy
- Herbalist that unlocks through gameplay
- Alchemist that unlocks through gameplay
The beta event will run for PC players via Steam starting at 10:00 am PST/1:00 pm EST on Wednesday, May 10th. It will finish at 10:00 am PST/1:00 pm EST on Tuesday, May 16th.
