Last year, a first-person mod came out for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It offered players a chance to check out the game in a new, more immersive way. It didn’t, however, include combat. According to a new post from the team behind the mod, those days are over….sort of.

First Person combat Witcher style…or not
While the exploration in first person is actually pretty darned good, even SkacikPL says that combat “is bad” and that he can’t make it any better. There are ways, he says, to make it slightly less bad, but that players need to “enjoy it for what it is or skip it entirely”.
Here’s a snip from his description in the video:
- I MADE IT WITH A BUDGET OF SINGLE PIZZA SLICE AND TWO STONES, DON’T EXPECT IT TO BE AAA TOTAL CONVERSION MOD
- I DON’T WORK FOR CD PROJECT RED AND AS SUCH I HAVE NO ACCESS TO BETTER TOOLS, DOCUMENTATION OR PEOPLE WHO COULD POSSIBLY HELP ME IMPROVE CERTAIN ASPECTS OF THE MOD.
