Fist of the North Star is Now An Anime Fitness Game

Fist of the North Star returns to screens today as a Fitness Boxing Title

Fist your way to fitness as an anime icon returns to screens today. Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star is probably the most unexpected way I’m going to find this month to burn of the holiday calories, Imagineer Co. Ltd. and Solutions 2 GO have announced that this punch ‘em up sporting styled anime title is available on the Nintendo Switch and in major retailers. It comes with plenty of pugilistic play and a new expansion pack filled with a ton of extra boxing challenges.

If you’re looking to burn of those nibbles without the likes of FitXR or Beat Sabe or want something a bit different to Bare Butt Boxing,  you can mix up rhythm based exercise routines with this well-known anime franchise. Familiar faces need punching in a range of game modes. Battle Mode makes up the mainstay of the title, giving you a chance to go head to head and defeat the mainline challenges. This is accompanied by Outlaw Mode and Boss battle, where players can fight the mighty Kenshiro rivals in their conquest to become a true champion. The included expansion pack DLC includes new game modes, challenges, and tests to really test your reaction time.

While this might seem like old news in some parts, this release means the anime oddity is finally available in the west in its full form. Initially releasing in various forms back in February 2023, it is clearly a cheesy bit of boxing fun. Fans of the anime can grab the game now via the Nintendo eShop.
