Flashback 2 has a new trailer showing off the streets of New Washington and the dangers that await.
Microids and original Flashback creator Paul Cuisset just stepped out from the undergrowth and pressed publish on a new Flashback 2 trailer today. Just released, the latest look at the follow up to the 1992 sci-fi classic takes a wander through the city of New Washington. Out beyond the thick titan jungle, this megalopolis made of glass and metal is home to influential individuals, and a lot of explosions, so it seems.
In this high tech cityscape, Conrad B. Hart leads a thrilling investigation to find his missing friend, Ian. While darting through street markets and high-end shopping centres, things might not seem so tough. However, the new trailer reveals that a host of adversaries will try to cut short that investigation, and you won’t always be able to shoot your way out of trouble.
Flashback 2 is, as you would expect, a direct follow up to the classic 1992 platformer. The new narrative takes place in familiar territory, and brings players back to characters they might remember, but with some differences. Expect high spec, fluid graphics, a pounding cyberpunk soundtrack, and revamp combat. A.I.S.H.A., a lethal adaptive weapon enhanced with combat AI aids you and a new 3D take on the world awaits. Anybody looking to jump in can grab Flashback 2 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on 16 November.
