Claim the SSV Normandy SR1 for your fleet in a no Man’s Sky N7 Day event.
N7 Day 2024 was bound to be quiet this year but Hello games is bringing back a special treat for fans of Mass Effect. The SSV Normandy SR1 Commander Shephard’s hero ship can now be found, back in the galaxy. This sleek looking recon spacecraft first set foot in No Man’s Sky back in 2021, but it hasn’t been seen much since then. Now players have a full two weeks to claim the vessel and keep it to impress their friends or just reminisce about that time they had to go.
The news of a triumphant return dropped across the official social channels and the No man’s Sky blog earlier today, detailing what they need to do to get this beloved craft. Today, and for the next two weeks, as a love-letter from one science fiction game to another, players can find the Normandy in an overhauled version of the original Beachhead Expedition. Log in, follow the path and add another ship to your in-game collections.
Todays in game event also drops alongside some other updates. Hello Games detailed cross save support is now live, giving fans the option to leap seamlessly between PC, PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5, Xbox One & Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR. Anybody who managed to get their hands on a PlayStation 5 pro can also experience the galaxy in stunning fidelity. An enhanced version of No Man’s Sky for PlayStation 5 Pro is available that includes new upscaling and improved lighting, with ultra quality reflections and higher quality ambient occlusion in all modes. I’m sure it’ll make the Mass Effect crossover look even better. Find out more about the No Man’s Sky N7 Day Event and everything new to the game on the official website now.
