Ba-da-ba-BA-BAAA. We’re Liyue It as a Genshin Impact McDonald’s crossover is announced with plenty of in game treats.

Hyoverse is about to drive through the golden Arches and drop some sweet loot for fans of Genshin Impact. Following on from the recent release of yfood branded liquid nutrition, this new culinary adventure will kick off on 17 September for consumers in the United States. Players picking up a taste of Teyvat will be able to choose from two new in store items and earn a range of unique in-game rewards with these limited edition menu choices.

The Genshin Impact Apple Pie is a twist on the traditional treat from McD’s. It wraps up a familiar fruity taste with an exclusively-designed limited edition packaging that spotlights two popular characters from Genshin Impact – Kaedehara Kazuha and Beidou. The fruity favorite will also come with items like 40 Primogems, 3 exclusive Golden Apple Pastries and a “Golden Apple Pastry” Recipe that can enhance players’ combat strengths during their quests.

The Genshin Impact Deluxe McCrispy Meal bundles in a Deluxe McCrispy, fries, an exclusively-designed, limited-edition Apple Pie, and a drink. From a European perspective, the pairng is certainly different! Despite the seemingly sweet savoury mix, this is likely to sell well. Players picking this up will loot a Wings of Delicacies Wind Glider and an exclusive “Celebration: Crispy and Sweet” Namecard to decorate their in game UI.

This is one of many food focused tie ins that we’ve already seen, but demand is probably still likely to be huge. Players looking to grab some out of game trests will need to order via the dedicated McDonald’s app between 17-29th September and adhere to a bunch of other tick boxes. Check out how to pick these up  and let us know what you win by checking out the event details at hoYoLAB.
