During BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard Entertainment has presented a video dedicated to 25 years of Warcraft anniversary. It features many epic moments spanning the entire lifetime of the franchise, iconic characters and more.
For twenty-five years, the world of Azeroth has defined immersive gaming and epic storytelling. Shaped by endless conflict, the Warcraft universe has borne witness to the rise and fall of heroes, villains, and adventurers. Here’s to twenty-five years of Warcraft and to everyone who has taken the journey with us, from the peaks of Dun Morogh to the pit of the Maelstrom. For Azeroth!
Additionally, World of Warcraft holds its 15 year in-game anniversary event starting today for the Americas, tomorrow for Europe and a day after for Asia.
Players will be able to receive Lil’ Nefarian pet for logging in while the event is taking place, and earn Deathwing-inspired Obsidian Worldbreaker mount for completing the special raid consisting of 9 iconic bosses.
Players who participate in Korrak’s Revenge and complete the Alterac Valley of Olde achievement can earn two new mounts: the Stormpike Battle Ram (Alliance) and the Frostwolf Snarler (Horde).
