Forager is Coming to Switch and PS4 in July

Forager, the utterly charming indie crafter, is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles on 30 July and it is surely set to make an impression.

Get out from the back of your couch and pay attention to your console, Forager is coming to front rooms and this PC port is quite exciting news for us here at Gamespace. We were already fans of the very first outing for indie developer Hopfrog’s open world adventure. Set in a bright mythical land, this game encourages players to explore the environment around them and achieve anything they want. Inspired by games like Zelda and Stardew Valley, Forager features tons of materials to gather, a wealth of blueprints, a range of crafting options, and even dungeons to loot. How you use your gains is entirely up to you. Build, bin, or sell it all for profit.

This delightful experience originally started life as a game jam experiment and was finally expanded to a fully fledged gaming experience with NPCs to interact with, bosses to battle, raids to raid, a full skills system, and several different biomes. It hit PC at the start of 2019 and bowled over most of us. A strong Opencritic score speaks volumes. Now, publisher Humble is bringing the 2D deserts, graveyards, and snowy peaks of Forager to PlayStation and Nintendo fans.

Anybody interesting in a new adventure can find out more about Forager at the game’s official website or Humble store page. Console owners will find the game over on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop soon.
