Conqueror’s Blade will get Bagpipers when Season X: Highlanders update launches on 21 December.
Due to raid the realm when it kicks off just ahead of winter’s festivities, the latest season of Conqueror’s Blade will cry freedom and add unite the clans in an epic struggle for the mountains. Like previous updates to My.Games’ free to play territory war, the new Highlanders update adds new challenges, new territory wars for competing houses, and new units to push into battle.
Highlanders
Players preparing for the new update can check out the cinematic trailer, seen above, to get a taster of who’s joining the battle. Three new units will join the clans in the war and push back the mighty Kingdom of Loegria from the northern borders.
- Bagpipers (3-Star): The first unit of its kind, a morale-boosting band whose musical weapon of choice buffs their allies with rousing melodies.
- Claymores (4-Star): These sword-wielding heroes from the Battle of Gallows Hill brandish prized greatswords, gaining more defence as they attack.
- Houndsmen (5-Star): The first animal unit to join the fray in Conqueror’s Blade, this hunting company will heed the call alongside their fiercely loyal dogs of war.
With two firsts in this update alone, that’s enough to entice wayward commanders back to the battlefield, but there’s more coming too. A new map will ask players to cross swords over Broch Eastray, the historic site of the first Highlander settlement and a place held sacred by its people. As a Siege Map, you’ll find two teams of 12 players between the tar traps and incendiary catapults.
My.Games has also confirmed a bunch of events ahead of the kick off that include pre season quests, boosters, and a tour of the Highlands on the official twitch channel come 16 December.
