Forget Your Genshin Waifus & Prepare For Tears of Themis

Today it might be best to tell Lisa you are taking a break, as miHoYo has opened pre registration for its new romance detective title, and Tears of Themis is packed with new husbandos.

Coming from the same studio that is busy crafting a new crossover between Honkai Impact 3rd and the global phenomenon that is Genshin Impact, Tears of Themis is a very different type of detective game that will arrive on iOS and Android around summer 2021. Despite the lack of a definitive date, we do know that this free to play mystery will step into the exciting field of law, asking players to defend truth, justice, and maybe their favorite cute protagonist.

Throughout the game you’ll solve a range of mysteries, while crafting romantic ties to the four distinct male protagonists. You’ll play the role of a new attorney at Themis Law Firm and work hand-in-hand with a special mentor. While relationships are key here, Tears of Themis also places players in the courtroom to do battle. After interrogating witnesses, picking up evidence, and preparing a case everything unfolds in a clash of wits.

The latest promotional video, above, showed the character backgrounds of the four male leads, as well as their views and attitudes towards the anomalous cases in Stellis City. Private detective Luke Pearce, top attorney Artem Wing, psychiatrist Vyn Richter, and corporate successor Marius von Hagen will all be part of the search to unveil the unknown force hidden behind these cases.

Pre registration is offering in game extras, including Empathy Chips, in game currency, Oracles of Justice, and a Draw x10 reward card as pre registrations creep towards 500,000, ahead of the game’s release. You can find out more about these lovely boys over on the official website, or by checking out the trailer above. Anybody out to pre register can do so over on the iOS App Store or Android Play Store right now.
