We have a new chapter of Fortnite to play through, Vibin’. We saw the Zero Point fall into the depths once again as giant robots controller by players destroyed the enemy armies. As the event was ending there was a brief scene with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader locked in a lightsaber battle. It was Epic.
That scene was fun and we already had an Obi-Wan Kenobi skin on the store and now the new battle pass has Darth Vader with all of the fixings. Between an Imperial Staff for his pickaxe and a Lambda-Class shuttle for his glider. This level 100 goal is something I am aiming for this season.
There are some new weapons this time around as well. There is a double-shot shotgun which shreds through people. There is a new assault rifle that is a little faster than some of the standard rifles and hits pretty accurately. The last one I noticed was different is the DMR. In every FPS I play I tend to gravitate towards the DMR and this has helped me win three victory royales already this season. It is accurate and deadly at long distances.
All of this added with some new locations on the map to visit with some of the same old ones. It looks like this will be an interesting season.
