Fortnite Is About To Get More Bots

fortnite season 11

Fortnite is about to get even more botters. Don’t worry, this time it’s official. In a new update, Epic released a ton of balance changes that include the introduction of bots into matches.

The Rise Of The AI

In a recent post, Fortnite’s development team addressed some of the action title’s biggest ongoing issues. The stale matchmaking, that has plagued the games since 2017 is now about to get a massive shakeup. As part of the next Fortnite update, players can expect improved matchmaking logic. This change is intended to bring players of similar ability together and allow the game to appeal to players who might otherwise find themselves being repeatedly crushed by the same squad for an evening of misery.

Rolling out slowly, in the wake of Fortnite’s 10.40 update, the new changes will also unleash the AI swarm of players. This is not anything akin to Horizon Zero Dawn’s ecological disaster. Instead, it is a range of bots designed to recreate human player behaviour. These new additions will hit battle royale game modes as season 11 of the game kicks off. Alongside the new matchmaking, these bots should actually improve the experience for various skill levels, which sounds like the oddest thing I’ve ever had to say about any botter.

While these modifications will appear in the general game, they will not impact the game’s competitive arenas. We haven’t got a date for the rise of this AI or the start of season 11 yet but it shouldn’t be far away now. I am also sure that no matter how hard Epic try their bots will never be as stupid as real-life team mates. At least we’ve got the machines beaten on one front. If you want to find out more about the changes coming in update 10.40 or the introduction of new matchmaking then head over to the official website for more details. Fortnite is out now across PC, Playstations 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Android and iOS devices for free.
