Fortnite players will be able to bid the ever-difficult 2020 adieu thanks to a fantastic (and very funny) new emote introduced via Twitter yesterday. Called “Out with the Old”, the emote is now available in the Shop. Players will need to cough up 200 V-Bucks for the emote but we think the cost is well worth it. The emote is cathartic as this year winds to a close.

For those looking for even more holiday cheer before it all goes away for another year, definitely check out Operation Snowdown. It is currently underway and will run through January 5th. Players have an opportunity to unlock free outfits, fly plains through the skies, and play fan-favorite LTMs all packed in a snowy environment.
Over the course of Operation Snowdown, Snowmando will offer Quests you can complete for free rewards, including the perfectly-wrapped Shield Surprise Back Bling, the snowglobe-topped Frosty Globes Pickaxe, as well as Gliders, Wraps, another Back Bling and Pickaxe, and more. If you complete nine Operation Snowdown Quests, you’ll unlock the Snowmando Outfit, and if you complete twelve, you’ll unlock the winter-inspired Frost Squad Outfit. Both Outfits are free!
