Whilst a lot of players in the popular Battle Royale title prefer to focus on how they are progressing and comparing themselves to the greats with the likes of the Fortnite Tracker, there are others who like to keep an eye on the Fortnite item shop to see new additions. These new Fortnite items are cosmetic changes that can be made to your character. This gives players the chance to stand out from the crowd when out in battle.
There is such a vast variety of cosmetic options in Fortnite, which come and go. Not too long ago, we saw an awesome skin added to the game in the form of the Burnout skin. Here is a bit more information on the skin, and how it was obtained.
What is the Fortnite Burnout skin?
If you were looking for an Epic Fortnite outfit to wear, then you needn’t have looked any further than the Burnout skin. Sporting a black leather look with red stripes across the helmet and jacket, you would be suited up and ready to get into the action with this neat looking outfit. It has been around for quite some time, too. It was initially released on March 9th, 2018. This goes all the way back to Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 3, so you can tell that it been around for a long while when considering where we are at with the game now.
How to get the Burnout Skin
The Burnout skin was a part of the RPM set in Fortnite. It was last seen in the Fortnite shop not all that long ago, on July 11th. This is quite surprising compared to some Fortnite skins that don’t stick around for that long, but this outfit stood the test of time over some others. If you want to obtain this cosmetic item, then you will have to wait until it rotates back into the Fortnite item shop. When it does, the skin was available for 1,500 V-Bucks.
The rarity of the outfit is classed as Epic and is in the male category. As for when it will return, there is no way of really knowing. This is because we see Fortnite skins on constant rotation in the game, so we just have to hope it returns soon. It isn’t so rare that we are never likely to see it again, which is actually the case for some cosmetics.
In fact, some are locked behind not only specific past events but even the purchase of real-life devices that have exclusive Fortnite skins. Thankfully, this isn’t the case with the Burnout skin, and we hope to see it again soon. In the meantime, there are plenty of other cosmetics for us to enjoy within Epic Games Fortnite.
