Freedom Finger Presses Launch On PS4 and Xbox This March

Freedom Finger, a side-scrolling sh**sto*m is flicking off PCs and heading to Playstation 4 and Xbox consoles on 24 March.

The hyperactive side-scrolling music-driven shoot em up is about to get an enhanced console edition when it touches down on consoles in the next couple of weeks and it is certainly out to earn the title. Wide Right Games have added a bunch of new stages, new music track, a fully unlockable arcade mode, a god mode, new language options, and even more to the new version of this title.

Even More Fingering

Anybody who hasn’t been fortunate enough to experience the game on CP or Nintendo Switch already might be wondering what exactly Freedom Finger is, however. Developed by Emmy nominated producer Jim Dirschberge, this side-scrolling space shooter is a fast-paced and eccentric experience that crashes right through the traditional tropes of sci-fi twin sticks. This comedic shrump sned players shooting and blasting their way throughn40+ levels of action all with the intent of making you laugh.

It features original music by Aesop Rock and licensed tracks from Red Fang, METZ, Power Trip, Com Truise, White Fence, Ty Segall, Makeup and Vanity Set, True Widow, The Radio Dept., Drab Majesty, John Maus, Vektroid, Danimal Cannon, Cleaners from Venus, Male Gaze, Ezee Tiger, The Mall, and many more. Voice acting comes courtesy of Nolan North, John DiMaggio, and Sam Riegel! I’d practically listen to the game never mind play it based on those names.

The only feature that is missing is multiplayer but then we thought about explaining to our friend’s list that we wanted to Freedom Finger with them. Freedom Finger hits Playstation 4 and Xbox One on 24 March but PC and Switch players will also get a range of new features on the same day with The Rhymesayers Update, So, whether you’ve never played or are looking forward to the overhauled campaign mode, arcade mode, and infinite health options that the update will drop into existing saves, check out the official website and find out what’s coming with freedom Finger.

For those of you who I’ve not met yet, my name is Ed. After an early indoctrination into PC gaming, years adrift on the unwashed internet, running a successful guild, and testing video games, I turned my hand to writing about them. Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
