Frostkeep Studios has sad news for fans of Rend, a competitive survival title. On January 31, 2020, the game will officially be taken offline. The difficult decision was made due to low player population that degraded the “original experience we hoped for”.
Here are a few facts to keep in mind ahead of this Friday’s shutdown:
- The game is fully playable through 11:59 pm on Friday, January 31st.
- All purchase options on Steam have been disabled and the game can no longer be purchased.
- The website and all social media accounts related to the game will be disabled shortly after service ends.
- While official public servers will be taken offline, those interested in keeping the game alive via private servers will not be interfered with by Frostkeep.
