Gameloft Announces Disney Dreamlight Valley Coming to PC and Consoles in 2023

Disney Dreamlight Valley

Gameloft and Disney have announced Disney Dreamlight Valley, an upcoming life-simulation adventure game that comes complete with both Disney and Pixar characters. The game is said to be coming in 2023 as a free-to-play title for PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox. Developers have plans to start early access this summer. It can be accessed by purchasing a Founders Pack or being an Xbox Game Pass owner.

The game sends players to the magical world of Dreamlight Valley after a mysterious event called The Forgetting removes memories of iconic Disney and Pixar characters. Players will help restore both the village itself and help the inhabitants of the town to recover their lost memories. Along the way, players will meet and assist characters from well-known movies including The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Moana, and characters from Mickey & Friends, Toy Story, and many others. The immersive gameplay even allows players to specialize in specific tasks. For instance, those with a cooking bent can work alongside Remy from Ratatouille or learn fishing from Goofy at the fishing hole, or even team up with Wall*E to grow vegetables.

Players will be able to design the Disney and Pixar villages of their dreams across multiple unique biomes, ranging from the snowy mountains of the Frosted Heights to the Peaceful Meadow and beyond – with a wealth of customization options for their avatars, homes, and villages. The game will feature an ever-evolving list of Disney-princess-inspired ballgowns, Mickey-adorned streetwear, Frozen-inspired antique kitchen designs, and more.
