It’s that time of year – the time when we here at GameSpace argue collectively about what games made the biggest impression on us, which ones we loved the most, and which ones are deserving of our pointless but also very well-intentioned Game of the Year Awards. Below is the running tally of our categories and the games we’ve nominated within each. This time next week, we’ll be announcing the winners, as the year 2019 officially begins and we start the process all over once more.
The nominees in each category were chosen by the writing staff here at GameSpace, and during the course of the next week, we’ll be putting each category to a vote to determine which ones comes out on top in each. There’s no special consideration for any one game, and we do a blind vote via private polling to see which title we think should win the awards.
