Gang Beasts Gets Ready For Nintendo Switch

Get in the ring as Gang Beasts prepares to step onto Nintendo Switch this Thursday.

Initially announced back last week but almost upon us now, Gang Beasts is about to beat a path from Pc and other consoles onto the Nintendo Switch. Arriving via the Nintendo eShop and likely to cost $29.99 / €29,99 / £24.99 / local equivalent, Gang Beasts is a port of the indie arena brawler that first blew up back in 2017. Now players can pick a color and fight it out in a multiplayer arena brawler that is all silly settings, wibbly fighters, and good wholesome friendship destroying fun.

For those of you that haven’t picked up Gang Beasts on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, or even Oculus, this gelatinous beat ’em up is a silly sounding party game that takes the simplistic approach of beating up your friends and crosses it with an inventive physics engine for some hilarious results. Supporting online and local multiplayer options, players picking from red, green, yellow, and blue will be able to put ‘em up over 21 different stages, fighting everywhere from atop a blimp to across a moving lorry. Winning blobs will find the usual costume customization on offer, meaning even online you’ll be able to easily spot your friends as they plummet to their doom.

Skybound Games and developer Boneloaf are also about ready to drop a physical version of Gang Beasts too. While eager competitors can head to the Nintendo eShop on 7 October, those of you looking for something a bit more hands-on can grab a Physical copy of Gang Beasts for Nintendo Switch on 7 December 2021. You’ll be able to keep an eye out for that and find out more about the joyful chaos that is Gang Beasts over on the official website now.
