Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac gets a new hero today as Gemini Saint, Kanon arrives on the mobile RPG.

Launched earlier last year and available across Android and iOS devices, Saint Seiya Awakening brought the Zodiac Knights to the even smaller screen for an impressive mobile RPG. Now publisher Yoozoo has loaded up a whole new hero for anybody out to save the universe. From today, Gemini Saint, Kanon is part of the advanced summon pool and will remain there for a fortnight. For players grinding through the on the go adventure, it means an increased drop rate as well as a bunch of in game events to get involved in.

A Sea-sonal Addition

For anybody who isn’t familiar. Kanon is known to fans of the Toei Animation original as a Knight with a chequered past. In Saint lore, he originally resurrected the Sea God Poseidon and posed as one of Poseidon’s seven Sea Generals. Earning a reputation as a fearsome opponent, he also caused the conflict of the 12 temples, escaped prison, and caused a whole lot of chaos before redeeming himself Gemini Gold Saint and wreaking havoc against Hades’ army of Specters in the 21st century Holy War. For those of you that are utterly confused now, that makes Kanon an infamous and powerful member of the roster.

To celebrate the addition of Kanoin to Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac players may obtain materials by clearing dungeons, purchasing gift packages and donating materials to the legion to get points. The higher the legion score, the better the reward. In addition, from Wednesday, 22 July, players of level 55 or above can click ‘Enhancement’ to play Will of the Stars. In this system, Saints will hone their fighting will and skills in different atlases. With plenty of new additions to Saint Seiya, it might be time to grab your mobile and try this impressive looking RPG and Burn your cosmo.
