The developers of open-world RPG Genshin Impact are back with a new character teaser. Following the animated short that focused on the Pyro Archon’s divinity, this video shows another side to Mavuika: a loving sister that had to leave her sibling behind for the 500-long plan to save Natlan.

Indeed, life is often steeped in regrets, much like pages that inevitably yellow with the passage of time. Yet, in the memories etched on those pages, no trace of regret remains.”
Revered as Natlan’s most radiant protector, Mavuika (aka Pyro Archon Haborym), joins the battlefield with two unique combat styles: Fighting with her claymore, or crushing opponents while riding her Flamestrider. By tapping her Elemental Skill, the Ring of Searing Radiance manifests, following Mavuika or the active character and unleashing continuous Pyro attacks.
By holding her Elemental Skill, Mavuika mounts her Flamestrider, allowing her to scale cliffs, drive across land and water alike, glide in mid-air, and charge into opponents in her path.
Fighting alongside her teammates grants Mavuika a unique resource called Fighting Spirit, used to activate her Elemental Burst. Her Elemental Burst unleashes a powerful AoE Pyro attack, and Mavuika will enter a special state with higher interruption resistance and enhanced combat power. Additionally, Mavuika can decrease the party’s Nightsoul Transmission Cooldown by 20%. Players can learn more about this stalwart warrior in her Story Quest, which unlocks after completing the latest Archon Quest.
Genshin Impact – Version 5.3: Incandescent Ode of Resurrection:
Mavuika’s debut banner kicks off in the first phase of Version 5.3: Incandescent Ode of Resurrection, arriving on January 1st, 2025. Players will also be able to unlock the Pyro Traveler and recruit Citlali (5-star Cryo Catalyst). There is plenty of content to enjoy, both unique to Natlan and taking the Travelers back to places already familiar – such as the Lantern Rite.
