The developers of open world action-adventure Genshin Impact have shared the latest teaser dedicated to the upcoming region of Natlan. Titled ‘Lil’ Buddy’, it is focused on a new companion that you will meet in the lands of the Pyro Archon.
“A new adventure brings new buddies. Though this lil’ buddy is still a youngling, he will do his utmost to accompany you on your journey.”
Natlan remains one of the most mysterious and closed-off regions of Teyvat, even more so than the land of Eternity, Inazuma. There is almost nothing known about the region besides it being the land of War, ruled over by the Pyro Archon. It seems that Natlan went through a change in rulers at some point, as the only two original Archons are Morax (Zhongli) and Barbatos (Venti).
The inhabitants are split into a number of tribes that gather together for the tournament. You can find some of the region’s characters in the trailer below.
Additionally, have already introduced the first Natlan trio that we’ll get to meet and recruit in the land of Pyro: Kachina, Kinich and Mualani.
At the moment, Genshin Impact is preparing for the final update of Fontaine: Version 4.8 Phase 2. Next stop: Natlan!
