The developers of open-world action RPG Genshin Impact are back with more information about the first patch of Natlan. Version 5.0 Phase 1 will introduce two new characters: Mualani (5-star Hydro Catalyst) and Kachina (4-star Geo Polearm).
In addition to the two new characters, the very first banner of Natlan also features the rerun of everyone’s favorite Anemo support Kazuha. The four stars include the already mentioned Kachina (4-star Geo Polearm), Bennett (4-star Pyro Sword), and Xinyan (4-star Pyro Claymore).
Note that players will get a free copy of Kachina by playing through the game’s main story. So if the 4-star is all you want, keep your Primos for future characters! Additionally, the weapon banner will feature the respective signature weapons: 5-star sword Freedom-Sworn and brand-new 5-star Catalyst Surf’s Up.
Speaking of the future characters, HoYoverse has taken to the official HoYoLAB page to introduce one of the Version 5.1 characters: Xilonen. She is an upcoming Geo character whose Constellation is Panthera Ocelota.
Xilonen’s skill with the forge is renowned throughout Natlan. Many come from far and wide to pay homage to her superb skill. Some hope to commission her to forge them weapons, while others only seek to see the visage of this great smith.
But Xilonen couldn’t care less about what all her customers are thinking. No matter what kind of ridiculous, fancy titles others give her, before all the honors and accolades, she is first and foremost an artisan. All she need do is refine the ore, and surely and steadfastly hammer it into its final shape one blow at a time, in accordance with the customer’s requirements.
