The developers of open-world fantasy RPG Genshin Impact are back with a new animated anecdote dedicated to Citlali. Also known as the fearsome Granny Itztli, she is the most powerful shaman of the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe.
“Citlali has always lived in solitude, and the children of the Masters of the Night-Wind usually only learn about the legendary Granny Itztli through frightening tales told by the adults. Thus, they view her dwelling as a dangerous place, one that children are warned to stay away from. However, some brave children still gather the courage to seek out wishes that only the great shaman Citlali can fulfill…”
Citlali brings a biting cold to the battlefield. She is always accompanied by two little companions, Itzpapa and Citlalin. During exploration, they transform into cushions and pillows, allowing Citlali to comfortably float in midair.
While in combat, she can deploy Cryo shields and summon a powerful Cryo storm of AoE DMG with her little companions. While in her Nightsoul’s Blessing state, “Granny Itztli” lowers the Pyro and Hydro RES of opponents affected by Frozen or Melt reactions, even when Citlali is off-field.
She joined the roster of playable Genshin characters along with the Pyro Archon Mavuika in Version 5.3, available now.
