Genshin Impact team is back with another Natlan preview teaser! Titled “To the Light of Rainbow Flames”, it introduces players to the critters and beautiful biomes of the upcoming region. Not only the dinosaur and dragon-like saurians, but normal but exotic animals took the center stage of the trailer.

In addition to being the Region of Pyro, Natlan is also the land of dragons! Although their kind is quite different from Vishaps previously encountered by the Traveler. Called Saurians, they are the result of a long evolution and have evolved to coexist with humans, and they have even become their faithful companions.
During the Version 5.0 special program, the developers had been on hand to introduce some of the Saurians players will encounter in Natlan. These include:
- the Tepetlisaurus are good at tunneling and climbing;
- the Yumkasaurus can pull themselves in a chosen direction;
- the Koholasaurus can move quickly on water and liquid Phlogiston.
GENSHIN IMPACT – VERSION 5.0 ADDITIONS INCLUDE:
- New region: Natlan, the Nation of War, with the first three out of six tribes: Children of Echoes, Scions of the Canopy, People of the Springs
- Quick Start for new Genshin players: Natlan map unlock criteria – complete all Mondstadt Archon Quests and reach AR 19; Natlan Archon Quest unlock criteria – complete all of Liyue’s Archon Quests and reach AR 28.
- New exploration mechanic: transformation into Natlan’s Saurians.
- New Artifacts & Weapons;
- New characters: Kinich (5-star Dendro Claymore), Mualani (5-star Hydro Catalyst), Kachina (4-star Geo, Polearm);
- Special daily login event for V5.0, offering Intertwined Fate x10;
- Anniversary rewards including Primogems ×1,600, two exclusive gadgets “Firstborn Firesprite” and “Kaboom Box,” as
well as more bonuses. Additionally, players can invite a 5-star character from the Standard Wish lineup to their team for free. - Updates to the Weapon Event Wish: the overall number of Fate Points needed to guarantee the chosen weapon dropping by one;
- New Character Event Wish mechanic: Capturing Radiance. Find the details here.
- Completing the Archon Quest and Tribal Chronicles (new Reputation system) within the designated duration will give extra rewards.
- New tool to redeem Artifacts with designated affixes will also arrive in the later version;
- World Level 9 unlocked;
- Increased Primogem rewards for exploring new areas;
