Build It And They Will Come. Genshin Impact developer Mihoyo has just announced a new Divine Ingenuity event that will allow Travellers to build their own dungeons.
Players of Mihoyo’s massive anime-themed RPG will get some new tools when Genshin Impact’s Divine Ingenuity even arrives tomorrow. Beginning on 2 March until 21 march players can venture into a strange new domain on the outskirts of Liyue and take on a range of new dungeons for epic loot and bragging rights.
Before you start looking to go full dungeon master, anybody entering this new area will need to take on and overcome 5 precursor dungeons. These Preset Dungeons are something of a time trial, meaning you’ll need to complete them within a set time while collecting as many Adventure Coins as possible.
Once these 5 are down, a whole new toolkit unlocks for anybody eager to build. The terrain, traps, and mechanisms that make up this aforementioned challenge can be picked, placed, and put together to build a range of customer experiences. You’ll be able to use Wind Rings, Disappearing Platforms, Springboards, and more to publish these Custom Domains. There’s also the chance to take on challenges that other Travellers have pieced together, with event reards on offer. Help the Adventurer’s Guild investigate the Strange Domain to grab precious Primogems, hero’s Wit, Level Up Materials, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and plenty of Mora.
