Anime action-adventure Genshin Impact kicked off a new battle-oriented limited-time event Feast of the Departed Warriors, giving Travelers an opportunity to face some familiar enemies once again. The lineup of opponents includes the formidable Crackling Thunder Manifestation. To bring players up to speed on how to vanquish this foe, the devs shared a new blog post on the official site.
Of course, the main feature of the Manifestation is it being literally made of Electro and thus rendering many of fan-favorite characters such as Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Cyno, Fischl and comps based around their Electro-applications next to powerless. However, there are still ways to tackle it – mostly based around attacking it with Pyro characters to proc Overload.
HoYoverse also suggests that players pay attention to the Strike Probes and the Locked Status applied by the boss. However, with the help of right Tempos and Elemental reactions, those mechanics will be easy to avoid. If you were among the lucky ones to get Alhaitham off of the most recent banner, you can use him to dish out some serious Spread damage.
