Anime action-adventure Genshin Impact received a new permanent combat gameplay mode: Imaginarium Theater. To prepare Travelers for the new challenge, the devs have shared a quick gameplay overview on the official site. Let’s dig in!
If you have ever wanted to visit the Restricted Section of the Ordo’s library, you’re in luck! This mode will offer Primogem rewards and combat buffs that are not limited to this gameplay alone. To successfully beat the Theater, you will need to select multiple characters to form a party and complete combat stages. The catch is that each season of Imaginarium Theater will feature three specific elements. The first season being Pyro, Electro and Anemo. Your characters must match the elemental and level restriction requirements to be eligible.
To obtain the coveted Primogems, you have to complete the first quest in each Imaginarium Theater stage. By completing different Acts of the performance, you will earn different levels of Performance Medals, which will be displayed bin your profile and can be viewed in Past Performances within the gameplay. You can also use the “Rewind” option to reset your performance progress after the last Villain challenge if you were not satisfied with how you did.
After completing the challenges of the first three Acts on any difficulty, talk to Wolfy and use “Toy Medals” to purchase photo poses.
Not that the release schedules of Imaginarium Thater and Spiral Abyss had been adjusted. Both modes will be available for one month each time.
The game is currently going through Version 4.7 Phase 2, featuring the debut of Sigewinne and the first rerun of Furina. Sigewinne is a Hydro support character that can provide continuous healing and boost the damage dealt by her teammates. Meanwhile, Furina is an extremely strong buffer that eats up your party’s HP like macarons.
