The developers of open-world fantasy RPG Genshin Impact are back with a pair of character trailers dedicated to Mavuika and Citlali respectively. Both the Pyro Archon and Granny Itztli will get their debut banners tomorrow, on January 1st, when Version 5.3 lands.
Mavuika – 5-star Pyro Claymore
“Fuel is essential to keeping a flame alive, and it’s the one thing Natlan never wants for. Ignite your burning wishes, and we can stoke a fire that endures even the longest of nights.”
Mavuika is a fierce Pyro DPS that has two unique combat styles: fighting with her claymore, or crushing opponents while riding her Flamestrider. By tapping her Elemental Skill, the Ring of Searing Radiance manifests, following Mavuika or the active character and unleashing continuous Pyro attacks. By holding her Elemental Skill, Mavuika mounts her Flamestrider, allowing her to scale cliffs, drive across land and water alike, glide in mid-air, and charge into opponents in her path.
Citlali – 5-star Cryo Catalyst
Citlali, also known as Granny Itztli, brings a biting cold to the battlefield. While in combat, Citlali can deploy Cryo shields and summon a powerful Cryo storm of AoE DMG with her little companions. While in her Nightsoul’s Blessing state, “Granny Itztli” lowers the Pyro and Hydro RES of opponents affected by Frozen or Melt reactions, even when Citlali is off-field.
“Never mess with Granny Itztli!” That comment is a rather biased assessment of Citlali. In truth, she is an excellent elder. But even the clearest night sky can herald ill omens. For the sake of your own destiny, you should never try to deceive the starlight.”
