Developer Hoyoverse continues to introduce the wonders of Sumeru, including but not limited to the Dendro Element, creatures and characters that await players in this new region. One of the new Dendro heroes to join the Traveller is Tighnari, a young researcher well-versed in botany who currently servers as a Forest Watcher in Avidya Forest. He is a straight shooter with a warm heart – and a dab hand at guiding even the dullest of pupils.

Due to his particularly well-developed sense of hearing, Tighnari rarely goes to the bustling Sumeru City. For this reason, he turned down many invitations from the city. However, when the invitation comes from his mentor, it is important to respond earnestly and sincerely.

Of course, this is not the only update shared by the developers. The official site has been updated with a couple of entries introducing players to what can be found in the new region. Titled Sumeru Adventure Journal, the first entry dedicated to the fascinating Dendro element and its reactions with other elements, such as Quicken with Electro, Burning with Pyro and Bloom with Hydro.
The second entry is about fantastic creatures that can be found in the nation of wisdom. Strange bouncy mushrooms? Plants that restore stamina? Sumeru has it all. Note that the article contains spoilers, so check it out at your own risk!
While waiting for the gates of Sumeru to open to adventurers, you might want to check out the limited-time web event “A Journey Through Pages”. In the Mondstadt Athenaeum, sheets of paper are pieced together one by one to create an amazing journey. Come and explore now! The event is active through August 23rd – the rewards can’t be claimed after the event is over.
During the event, you can log in to Genshin Impact every day and complete Daily Commissions, consume Original Resin, and other missions to obtain Activity Points. Accumulated Activity Points can earn you Encounter Pieces, which can be pieced together in the gameplay interface to continuously expand the map. Travelers can switch to Exploration mode to unlock various encounters on the map and interact with them. Accumulate unlocked Encounter Records to receive rewards such as Primogems.
As far as updates go, Genshin Impact 3.0 is scheduled to arrive on August 24. However, the developers have also warned players that the update duration will be adjusted to 5 weeks through 3.2. Version update schedule preview at a glance:

Last but not least, Hoyoverse released the Genshin Impact 2.0 commemorative OST album “The Shimmering Voyage Vol. 2”. The album’s three discs “A Vagrant Breeze,” “Fantasia of the Isles,” and “A Turbulent Peregrination” feature 57 remarkable tracks composed by the HOYO-MiX team, each one an original composition from Genshin Impact.
