Open-world action RPG Genshin Impact is back with a new animated short dedicated to Mualani – a cheerful guide from Natlan’s People of the Springs. They may be really chill, but that doesn’t mean emergencies don’t happen. That’s why Mualani recommends everyone have an “inflatable Puffer swimsuit” at the ready — though she sincerely hopes you’ll never need its life-saving safety feature.
One such emergency rescue takes place in the brief animated short above, when an unfortunate tribesman finds himself caught off-guard by a rogue wave. Thankfully, our guide was nearby to provide him a helping hand!
Mualani is one of the two new characters introduced in Natlan’s first patch, Version 5.0. Alongside with Kachina (4-star Geo Polearm), she has her debut banner in Phase 1, available right now. At a later point, Kinich (5-star Dendro Claymore) will take the lead.
Version 5.1 will introduce another new character that belongs to the Children of the Echoes tribe: Xilonen. Xilonen’s skill with the forge is renowned throughout Natlan. Many come from far and wide to pay homage to her superb skill. Some hope to commission her to forge them weapons, while others only seek to see the visage of this great smith.
