Genshin Impact will soon be flipping to the Phase 2 of Version 5.2, featuring some long-awaited reruns. Prepare for the return of two dragons on December 10th: Neuvillette (5-star Hydro Catalyst) and Zhongli (5-star Geo Polearm).
It also puts Travelers that much closer to the debut of the Pyro Archon Mavuika in Version 5.3! Don’t miss out on the freebies when every Primogem counts.
Neuvillette is one of the game’s best DPS, pumping out ridiculous amount of Hydro damage in both single-target and AoE setting. Meanwhile, despite his advanced age in both in-game and real time terms, Zhongli remains one of the strongest shielders. Add in the impressive 4-star line-up, and you have quite amazing banners.

Genshin Impact – Version 5.2 Phase 2 Banners Feature:
- When: December 10 to December 31;
- Featured 5-stars: Neuvillette (Hydro Catalyst) & Zhongli (Geo Polearm);
- Featured 4-stars: Yaoyao (Dendro Polearm), Fischl (Electro Bow) & Shikanoin Heizou (Anemo Catalyst);
The 5 stars’ respective signatures – Tome of the Eternal Flow (Catalyst) & Vortex Vanquisher (Polearm) will be on the weapon banner. During this event wish, the event-exclusive 4-star weapon Mitternachts Waltz (Bow) as well as the 4-star weapons Favonius Sword (Sword), Favonius Greatsword (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), and Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst) will receive a huge drop-rate boost.
However, both Neuvillette and Zhongli are extremely flexible in their weapon choices, easily satisfied with 4-star or even 3-star weapons in some cases.
Genshin Impact – Version 5.2 Phase 2 Events Include:
- Adventurer’s Trials: Metamorphosis (December 11 to December 23). A new All-Round Trial will unlock each day for the first 4 days after the event starts.
- Exercise Surging Storm (December 18 to December 30). Select suitable combat units and stratagems to shatter your foes and claim victory.
- Ley Line Overflow (December 23 to December 30). Double drops from Blossoms of Wealth and Blossoms of Revelation.
