Genshin Impact to Get Even More QoL Changes & Improvements in Version 5.0

Genshin Impact developer has taken to the official site to share an overview of QoL changes, improvements and features coming to the game with the release of Version 5.0. In addition to World Level 9 difficulty, players will be able to track regional specialties, long quest prompts, enjoy Serenitea Pot & food optimizations, and much more.

Here’s a short overview of changes coming with Version 5.0:

  • World Level 9 unlocked & basic drop rate for certain opponents optimized. With the increase in World Level, the drop rates for materials will also increase, along with the drops from specific monsters.
  • Regional specialty tracking function that will mark the location range of the chosen specialty with multiple blue circles on the map.
  • Total Map Pins limit will be increased by 50.
  • New Artifact Sets coming to Mystic Offering.
  • The Serenitea Pot load limit will be increased to 1.6 times of the previous limit. More furnishings!
  • Furnishing Inventory will be expanded from 2,000 to 2,200.
  • Food usage and cooking system will receive further optimizations. The food interface will have new Filter and Search functions to make them easier to use. You can even sort the dishes to Proficiency!
  • Interface operation & display optimization. Crafting interface will now display the total number of Condensed Resin you have. It will also automatically select the maximum amount you can craft without exceeding the limit.
  • Weapon enhancement interface will be further enhanced. Additionally, forging operation will automatically select the maximum quantity you can currently forge.

  • Personal profile display will get some optimizations as well. The page will also feature the number of characters at max Friendship level and the number of stars obtained from the Spiral Abyss. The increase in the display limit for the character showcase and namecard showcase is coming, too!
  • New Long Quest Prompt Function. It will provide players with a pop-up about the length of the upcoming part of the story and/or recommendations for required elements, weapon types, etc.
  • Weekly reputation quests will no longer be available once your reputation level reaches maximum. They will also be removed from the Battle Pass.
  • Battle Pass will feature a new quest series for accumulated enhancement of 5-star Artifacts. The Battle Pass XP for claiming the daily Commission rewards will be increased.

The developers will be on hand on August 16 to reveal more information about Natlan. Don’t miss out on the special program!
