The developer team of anime action-adventure Genshin Impact let players sneak a glimpse behind the scenes. The latest trailers takes a few steps back to outline the making of “La vaguelette”, Furina’s story teaser.
The developers share their observations on the artistic goals when creating Furina’s appearance and clothes, as well as how they reflect her charge. Furina’s Character Quest also let players catch a glimpse of her future life after the prophecy is no more.
“As the dancing water flows, so too we would live. The city it would nourish — and you too, my dear, would flourish.” By playing out a drama within a drama, Furina brings a hitherto unknown “story” into the light.”
Genshin Impact just kicked off Version 4.2 Phase 2. Players are in for new banners and events!

The weapon banner has a solid lineup, especially for new players. In addition to Cyno’s and Ayato’s signature weapons, Staff of the Scarlet Sands and Haran Geppaku Futsu, it features Lion’s Roar (Sword), Favonius Greatsword (Claymore), Favonius Lance (Polearm), The Widsith (Catalyst), and Favonius Warbow (Bow).
GENSHIN IMPACT – VERSION 4.2 PHASE 2 EVENTS INCLUDE:
- Lil’ Fungi’s Fun-Tastic Fiesta event (December 6 – December 18). In a corner of the Quartier Lyonnais, an old friend has set up a booth, and is promoting an improved tabletop game. Among Fontainians, who rarely see Fungi, this game is quite novel indeed.
- Ley Line Overflow (December 11 – December 18). Blossoms of Wealth and Blossoms of Revelation yield double rewards.
- Genius Invokation TCG Heated Battle Mode: Tactical Formation. November 25 to December 11.
